The World Stage before the Event
I love the wisdom gained through historical research. I came across Billy Graham's sermon on https://billygraham.org/sermons/rioting-looting-and-crime and got a glimpse of the US's socio-political climate in the years after I was born. It also helps me to understand how the military failure of the Tet Offensive changed the Vietnam War.
Most surprisingly, I realized that the unrest was not just an American sentiment, but also in France and across the globe. This should explain why the mood is tense at the Paris Gala.
The more I learned, the more I realized that kingdoms rise and fall, but history is heading according to God's trajectory.
